Shanghai International Film Festival June 13 – 21
The Shanghai International Film Festival kicks off on June 13th and M1NT is the venue for the official opening party.
Shanghai International Film Festival, originated in 1993, is hosted by the State Administration of Radio, Film & Television and Shanghai Municipal Government; and organized by Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Radio, Film & TV and Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group. Upon successful organization of the first two editions, the festival was soon accredited by FIAPF as one of the competitive feature film festivals.
As mentioned in Variety:
A jury led by Oscar-winning “Slumdog Millionaire” helmer Danny Boyle will judge 16 films from 16 territories competing for the Jin Jue (Golden Goblet) prize at the 12th Shanghai Film Festival, which runs June 13-21.
With Barcamp Shanghai, TEDxShanghai and the Geeks On A Plane Tech Tour taking place in the city the same week I think it’s safe to say that M1NT is going to be one busy meeting place for all involved.
